Jason Wade a 6-5 shooting guard from Trinity Episcopal High School recently received an offer from Virginia Commonwealth University. Although he currently has 13 offers the hard work doesn’t stop for him this summer.
Wade will be playing in some of the top exposure tournaments with Boo Williams. During his down time he will continue his personal training to improve his shot.
“Basketball is big at VCU and it was nice to get an offer from the home team” Wade said.
VCU is in Wade’s top five picks for schools to attend.
“I love the atmosphere of the Siegel Center its very energetic and crazy,” Wade said. I also like the style of basketball that VCU plays.”
Wade’s summer schedule is jam-packed. In the month of June he will be going on 7 visits to different schools that have shown interest.
Wade is playing AAU with Boo Williams this summer. One of his goals is to win the Peach Jam tournament. He will also be traveling to California and Vegas for tournaments.
In between his busy schedule Wade will be getting up a lot of shots in the gym. This will help him to become more efficient as a shooting guard.
“I want to work on my jump shot and my shot when coming off of ball screens,” Wade said.
Next school year he wants to win his second state championship with Trinity Episcopal High School.
Wades most important goal that he wants to achieve this summer is to become one of the most versatile players in the area.
