The Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week is Ali Brooks of Deep Creek High School
by Andy Hilton, recruit757
Ali Brooks had a huge game on both sides of the ball Friday night. Fans of defense will love that most his production came on the defensive side of the ball. So it’s not always the quarterback, running back or wide receiver that gets all the accolades.
Brooks was a landslide winner, getting almost 40% of the vote against five other contenders.
Ali had six tackles, a fumble recovery, three INT, and two touchdowns (including a 95-yard pick six) in his team’s 48-6 win over Lakeland.
We will visit Deep Creek High School later this week to present the Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week award.
There’s an incentive for the player of the week winners to keep up with their academics, because recruit757, along with P.R.E.P.S., will award the Player of the Year award at the end of the post-season to the one player of the week winner that exemplifies the best of the region in football and academics.
We’re constantly on the lookout for top performances each week. The top six are nominated for the Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week award.
Thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings for their years of support of high school athletics in the 757. The Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week award has become a staple of our regular season and postseason recognition of top players.
