Lafayette tight end Tyler Neville had a successful basketball season, but it’s becoming obvious that football is his future.
During the hoops season, Neville landed his first college scholarship offer when William and Mary Head Coach Mike London came calling.
Not long after, Youngstown State offered.
In this week alone, Neville picked up offers from Illinois State, Georgetown and Navy, giving him great options that include Division I, high academic and service academy opportunities.
Tyler’s older brother Trey excelled at Lafayette and went to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Trey decided to stop playing football, but is still at West Point and doing well.
Tyler’s offer list is up to six, with Elon offering prior to this week.
His spring and summer will be busy with visits. In addition to his six offers, Tyler is fielding interest from Wake Forest, Syracuse, Army, Pitt, Colorado, JMU, Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, UMass, UCF, ECU, and Temple. All of those schools have invited him to a Junior Day, spring practice or their annual Spring Game.
