Tuesday was a busy day for Lafayette tight end Tyler Neville (2020 TE 6-4 220).
In the afternoon, Neville landed a big Division I scholarship offer from USF, the University of South Florida.
At 9 on Tuesday night, he made his college commitment official.
It wasn’t USF that landed him. He decided to go the high academic route with a commitment to Harvard.
“I’m committing to Harvard,” Tyler said with excitement. “It’s obviously the best school in the country and when I went up to Cambridge I fell in love with it. The coaching staff is great and I’m excited play for TEU (Tight End University). They have five tight ends in the NFL. It was simply an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. It’s a life changer and I’m excited to get started.”
