By his sophomore season, a lot of major college football programs had taken notice of Keandre Lambert (2020 WR 6-2 180).
His junior season was proof positive and gave no doubt that Lambert is a play maker and a rising star.
Last fall, the Commodores advanced to a state semifinal appearance against eventual state champion Highland Springs, and Lambert grabbed 60 passes for 1,035 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also contributed to the Commodores’ rushing attack, the passing game and the return game. In total, Lambert racked up 1,673 all-purpose yards and 19 touchdowns.
On Friday evening, Lambert unveiled his top 11 via social media. Fortunately for fans of UVA and Virginia Tech, the Cavaliers and Hokies are still in the hunt.

The programs in Lambert’s top 11 include Virginia, Virginia Tech, USC, Clemson, Florida, Duke, Michigan, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Penn State.
Most would believe that Virginia Tech has an advantage since Lambert is Cam Chancellor’s nephew. Chancellor played his high school ball at Maury and his college ball at Virginia Tech before enjoying a long career in the NFL.
