On Thursday, two athletes from the 757 picked up a new offer.
NC State continued it’s run of expanding their focus on the region with offers to Great Bridge tight end Nate Boerboom and Maury DB/wide receiver Ahmarian Granger.

For Boerboom (2021 TE 6-4 220), it was his 19th college scholarship offer. His list also includes Virginia Tech, ODU, ECU, Buffalo, William and Mary, Liberty, Kansas State, Pitt, Charlotte, UCF, Temple, Appalachian State, Norfolk State, Marshall, UConn, JMU, Coastal Carolina, and Toledo.
“NC State is in the ACC. That’s a good conference for football and they have a good team,” Granger said.
He also added that he didn’t have the opportunity to talk to the coach at NC State, but the offer was fielded by his head coach, Dyrii McCain.
The Wolfpack is added to a quality list of early offers for Granger including Virginia Tech, Virginia, Old Dominion, Liberty, Pitt, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, and Coastal Carolina.
The Coastal offer for Ahmarian came earlier this month and was intriguing since the Chanticleers landed Maury’s top rushing option last season, C.J. Beasley. Maury defensive lineman Paul Hutson, III (2022 DT/OG 6-1 275) also landed an offer from Coastal Carolina at that time. Just days after the Coastal offer, Hutson landed a scholarhip offer from Buffalo, putting him at a dozen scholarship offers as he also heads into his junior season.
