The senior class has been served.
Maury saw several seniors launch into college over the past several months, including KeAndre Lambert to Penn State, Darian Varner to Temple, C.J. Beasley to Coastal Carolina, Ty Granger to Towson and Dashaun Peele to Navy.
Now the underclassmen at Maury are stepping up.
Over the past few weeks, defensive back/wide receiver Ahmarian Granger (2022 WR/DB 5-11 165) has added quite a few new offers. Since the last week of January, Granger has added offers from Pitt, Liberty, Arkansas, Toledo and Virginia.
The offer from the Hoos came on Thursday.

Granger is the younger brother of Tyshaun Granger, who as mentioned above is headed to Towson this fall. Ahmarian was a Second Team All-Region 5A selection at defensive back in his sophomore season.
Another sophomore star at Maury is lineman Paul Hutson, III. Hutson (2022 DT/C 6-1 265) held offers from Virginia Tech, William and Mary, East Carolina and Maryland at the end of the school year last year. He added an offer from Pitt before the summer ended.
Since then, he had a hand in his team’s state championship win in VHSL Class 5 and he was selected as a First Team VHSL Class 5 All-State defensive tackle.
Already this year, Hutson has added offers from Liberty, Charlotte and just this week, Toledo.

Wednesday’s Toledo offer pushes Paul Hutson closer to double digit offers and he’s not yet a junior.
Offseason training is already well underway at Maury. The 757 looks forward to seeing the Commodores defend their state title and there’s no shortage of teams right here in the region who expect to challenge them along the way in 2020.
More offers and more news to come.
