We have a new camp opportunity for athletes looking to earn scholarships
by Andy Hilton, recruit757
The past 75 days have thrown the whole recruiting cycle out of whack.
College coaches have been sidelined from their routine of hitting the road to evaluate prospects. Furthermore, college one-day prospect camps have been postponed or cancelled, leaving coaches without that opportunity to evaluate talent. College coaches have been relegated to recruiting over Twitter, typically after viewing game film that’s somewhere between six to ten months old.
Aspiring student-athletes are encountering similar issues.
School has been conducted online and through video chat. High school football programs and 7-on-7 teams haven’t been able to hold organized workouts. Showcase opportunities, school workouts and camps have been non-existent.
recruit757 has a new camp opportunity that is set to solve all of those problems. We have a new small group camp with personal attention, including help with your recruitment. Here are the details:
Workout session at Norfolk Indoor Sports Turf including 10-minute dynamic warm-up, L-Drill, 5-10-5, broad jump, vertical leap, and ladder work. All reps will be video recorded with the best reps shared with the athletes and promoted to colleges. In addition to running the drills, athletes will receive instruction on the best techniques for executing each drill.
After the 30 minute workout, athletes will split into three groups with 10 minutes allotted to each station.
Photo session: recruit757 will be set up for a photo shoot. Athletes, please bring your high school jersey (and helmet if possible). Photos taken will be available to the athlete for their social media, Hudl account, etc. This is to replicate a college visit photo shoot.
Info download: we will have a data sheet with information to be gathered from the athlete. This includes all information that is relevant to the athlete’s recruitment. This information will be provided to colleges and available upon request from college recruiters.
Reputation Management: perception is reality and college coaches will judge an athlete for everything they have online. We’ll review your social media accounts and your Hudl in order to clean up any weaknesses and strengthen your online presence for the best results in your recruitment.
When you leave this event, you’ll be set up with everything you need to see your recruitment take off. We’ll also recap these events on recruit757.com and send data directly to the college coaches who recruit in Virginia.
Registration is available now on recruit757.com. Our first event is Monday, June 8 with sessions at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. We will accept only three athletes per session. This is truly individualized work with individual-driven results in mind.
Sign up ASAP for your opportunity to level up your recruitment.
