College offers continue to pile up for Malcolm Britt

Oscar Smith linebacker Malcolm Britt (2020 LB 6-0 210) has been on a roll this spring.
He’s visited college campuses, deepened relationships with college coaches, and along with that he’s added scholarship offers.
It doesn’t hurt that he’s a triple threat as a prospect. The athletic ability is evident. Malcolm also gets it done in the classroom (4.1 GPA 1260 SAT) and in the community too.
On Monday, Britt added an offer from James Madison.
Blessed to have another opportunity to play football in college. Today after talking to @CoachBirkett he offered me a chance to play football on D1 level at @JMUFootball @coachcscott @Giavanni_Ruffin pic.twitter.com/I5YX95cYTu

The offer puts him at 19 on his list now, including Temple, ODU, Army, Fordham, Air Force, Navy, Holy Cross, Liberty, Lehigh, Georgetown, Hampton, James Madison and almost every single Ivy League school.
On the first of June, he narrowed his list to five. That list included Old Dominon, Temple, Air Force, Navy and Liberty.
His public statement with the release of that information was: “Thanks to the schools that have recruited me thus far. My recruitment is 100% open to any school. I want to concentrate on these five schools over the next few months.”
You can bet that James Madison is in the mix considering what they offer from the balance of academics, proximity to home, and the opportunity for early playing time.
In addition to recruiting, Britt has to keep his eyes on his senior season. New Oscar Smith head football coach Chris Scott has already started the team on a new program of workouts and the playbook is most certainly getting an overhaul. Much of the personnel will be the same, but there’s a new Oscar Smith football program hitting the gridiron this fall.
