Quinton Gregory developed along some of the best players in the game in his time at Catholic. He’s seen a lot of talented players graduate before him, including top ranked cornerback Levonta Taylor, who’s now at Florida State. The path to college football has been well worn in front of him. Now it’s time for him to shine in his own senior season.
Heading into the regular season, we recognize the top 30 senior prospects in and around the region of Hampton Roads. Continuing our countdown at number 19 is none other than Catholic High School wide receiver and defensive back Quinton Gregory.

Gregory came into the summer holding offers from Charlotte, Morgan State, Kent State, Liberty, Holy Cross, and Bryant. After careful consideration, he committed to Holy Cross in early August.
“It was the best school that I visited out of the schools who were actively recruiting me. I’ve honestly been recruited since the 8th grade, but my height and position limited my recruitment. I found a home and that’s what matters,” Gregory said of his commitment.
Quinton made his name with the 757 Colts program before heading to high school. That program has birthed quite a few top college prospects and even NFL athletes. Their most notable alum is former Florida State defensive end and current Philadelphia Eagle Josh Sweat.
As for Quinton and his senior year, he’s looking forward to a strong finish. The Crusaders open their schedule with a home game against Norfolk Christian on Friday, August 23.
