Devante Cooper gets another push to achieve his recruiting goals

Great Bridge running back, kick returner and cornerback Devante Cooper (2021 RB/DB 5-8 180) had a big junior season.
He wants college coaches to know about it and remember it.
In a year where college one-day camps were canceled, prospects like Cooper have to put in extra work outside of the team construct in order to get seen.
This is where the recruit757 Spotlight Exposure Camp sessions come in.
“It was good. I didn’t know what to expect really, but it was good training. It really helped my feet… it was tiring, but it was good though,” said Cooper.
There have been over 60 athletes come through the camp sessions so far, and there have been some solid performances. Cooper managed to break the broad jump record held by Logan Istre of Ocean Lakes. Istre posted a mark of ten feet even. Devante blasted through that with a jump of ten feet, five inches. He also ran a 4.25 in the pro shuttle.
“It’s crazy. I didn’t really expect that. I haven’t been doing any jumping. I’m happy though,” Devante exclaimed. “(This camp) has advantages. You can get extra training and detailed training with only four people.”
In his junior season, Devante led his team to a playoff appearance against Lake Taylor, and he was selected First Team All-Region at defensive back, Second Team All-Region at running back, and he was the Second Team kick returner for our recruit757 All-757 juniors teams.
Recruiting will pop. College coaches need to see the athleticism he brings to the grid iron. Expect more to happen very soon for Devante.
