Zach Coldsnow had a great week last week.
The First Team VHSL Class 3 All-State Tight End picked up offers from New Hampshire and William and Mary on Thursday.
Tabb High School head football coach Matt Lawson gave us the update that not only did Coldsnow land the offers, but Zach was also kicking his recruitment into another gear.
Coldsnow (2019 LB/TE 6-4 215) visited William and Mary over the weekend and he’ll take a visit to New Hampshire this coming weekend before making his decision.
Both William and Mary and New Hampshire are Division I FCS programs in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
Not only is Coldsnow an All-State caliber football player, but he’s also an outfielder for the Tabb baseball team, plus he’s a shot put and discus competitor during the indoor and outdoor season for the the track team. Zach plays both linebacker and tight end for Coach Lawson.
In addition to Coldsnow’s pending commitment, the Tigers have another senior athlete who has already committed. Ty Powell (2019 WR 6-3 170) recently committed to play football at Washington and Lee.
Powell was a First Team All-Bay Rivers District selection at wide receiver in his senior season, and he sports a 4.2 GPA with a 1330 SAT score. With that kind of resume, it’s easy to see why he’s an attractive prospect for an academically demanding school like W&L.
We’ll have an update on Zach Coldsnow’s decision as soon as he announces it. That could come as soon as this weekend.
