Busy Summer for Sophomore Aundre Hyatt
Sophomore, Aundre Hyatt a shooting guard/small forward from Miller High School in Charlottesville, VA has big plans for this upcoming summer. His summer schedule will include training in New York to playing AAU with Boo Williams and traveling to an All-American camp in California.
Some of Hyatt’s short term goals that he would like to achieve before he graduates High School is to win a state championship, win Player of the Year, and make it in the Top 20 in the country.
In order to achieve his goals Hyatt will be training with his old high school coach in New York this summer.
“Ball handling and shooting are the two main areas that I will be focusing on, “ Hyatt said. “However, I want to improve my shot off the dribble and work on my defense, so that I can defend multiple positions.”
To start out his busy summer Hyatt will also be traveling to California for the Pangos All-American Camp from June 2-4. He will be playing AAU with Boo Williams this summer. Some of the big tournaments that he will be attending are the Peach Jam and NBA top 100 along with many other tournaments up and down the East Coast. 6
Hyatt currently has 20 offers and just received another offer from Louisiana State University.
“I was pretty excited to receive this offer because Coach Wade is a great coach. He pushes his players to become better not only on the court, but as a person. I like the relationship that he has with his players and the school atmosphere,” Hyatt said.
