As the space between the spring and summer continues to decrease, Benedictine starting lineman Jack Hall (2020 OL 6-2 280) is well aware on the feat that stands before him. The two-sport gladiator has watched his recruitment take off to exponential heights since the end of the 2018-2019 football season and his future continues to take form by the minute. May has been extremely kind to Hall which started with him securing offers from The Citadel and the College of William and Mary. However, it picked up this past Monday when he was able to secure offers from both Fordham and Delaware State University.
“I was really excited about the both of them and I’m looking forward to learning more about both programs as the recruiting process goes on,” Hall explained.
Before the Benedictine product resumes football activities, he’ll have to gather his bearings and his health as he begins to recover from a torn meniscus. His injury occurred on the baseball diamond a few weeks ago and surgery soon followed to repair his injury.
“I was playing baseball up until a few weeks ago,” Hall stated. “I tore my meniscus and had to have surgery which ended my baseball season. I’ve been rehabbing ever since. My team still went on to win the state championship and it was a little hard to watch from the bench, but I’ve really started gearing up for the football season even more.”
The timetable for his recovery is tentatively set for six weeks and he has hopes to be back on the football field at the conclusion of his stint with physical therapy.
“I’m just doing what I have to do to get back as fast as I can and start getting ready for the football season,” Hall said.
