Life Christian Academy stays busy with Joshua Miller and Thailand Baldwin stirring the pot

Dishes always seem to stay dirty in Life Christian’s kitchen.
This is due to multiple student-athletes making plates and pulling up to the table prepared to eat everything that’s been placed in front of them.
The latest of the Eagles prospects to place himself on the radar of multiple collegiate programs is that of Joshua Miller (2023 OL 6-5 330). The talented offensive lineman was able to pick up his first offer from the University of Maryland back in early March and he’s now followed that up with offers from Pittsburgh and Penn State.
“I was really surprised,” Miller told recruit804. I had no idea that I was going to get Pittsburgh or Penn State. I figured something was going on when Pitt offered because Coach (Charles) Scott facetimed me and he never does that. For Penn State, Coach Scott called me and told me that I’d have an offer by the end of the night. After he let me know, I was really excited.”
The recruiting board is wide open for Joshua Miller. Receiving three out-of-state collegiate offers has opened his mind to the idea of playing outside of Virginia when the time comes for him to decide.
“I can definitely see myself playing out of state,” Miller explained. “Over time you just have to get away from your home and experience more than what you’re used to.”
Another prospect not afraid of stepping outside of his comfort zone is that of starting defensive back Thailand Baldwin (2021 DB 6-1 174). The Phoebus transfer proved that not too long ago when he decided to uproot from the 757 to Life Christian Academy.
Baldwin projects to be one of the top defensive backs in the Central Region next season and secured offers from the College of William and Mary as well as Buffalo over the past few days.
The LCA product also holds offers from: Liberty, Rutgers, Army, Tennessee, Coastal Carolina, Navy, Temple, Charlotte, Fordham, UTSA, and East Carolina. On Friday afternoon, Baldwin added an offer from Ball State.
