Middle School Passing League To Prep Young Athletes

Considering that we spend much of our time talking about high school football players and their quests for college scholarships, you might be surprised to hear of a passing league built for sixth through eighth graders. Realize that those guys are the high school guys of tomorrow. If the 757 is going to keep rising, with more and more talent every year, we have to expose our young men to new concepts and give them the experience that they’ll draw from once they reach the high school ranks.

College Coaches Flocking To Ocean Lakes (2015-16 Edition)

($$) It’s been a busy Spring Evaluation period for the Ocean Lakes Dolphins. College coaches have been roaming the halls, checking transcripts, and sizing up the vast amount of talent that takes the field on Friday nights in the fall. If all is well academically, it’s easy to assume that at least 25 players on the current roster will be playing college ball at some level in the next few years. Boyce Adds New Offer

Poquoson defensive end and full back Grayson Boyce has worked hard this offseason. He’s bulked up to about 240 pounds, adding muscle which will serve him well in his senior season. His size and football abilities also serve him well in his hunt for college scholarships. Grayson added another offer last week, bringing him to three, with more on the way.

Brantley Soon To Be BMOC

Phoebus lineman Walter Brantley can’t wait for the day when he’s the BMOC. For those of you not picking up what I’m putting down, that’s “big man on campus”. At 6-3 and 330, Lil’ Walt, as he’s affectionately called, is literally the big man on Phoebus’ campus. It won’t be long before he’s walking the open spaces of a college campus.
