In the second contest of the day, IC Norcom faced Kings Fork. The Bulldogs raced out to a quick lead, but was Norcom quickly established themselves in the ballgame. Both programs feature talent that should contribute on the varsity level in the coming years.
Bishop Sullivan and Churchland squared off in the final matchup of the day. Churchland featured a pair of players that we previously featured, Pharaoh Lassiter and Jamond Scott. Both played on the 757 Elite team that captured the inaugural USA Basketball 14u national tournament this past summer. Bishop Sullivan came into the contest with a 7-1 record. It was a pair of football standouts, including sophomore All-American defensive back Sheridan Jones, that ensured the Crusaders left Atlantic Shores with an 8-1 mark.
