The smell of the weight room was obvious as soon as the doors to the Portsmouth Christian football locker room opened. PCS is in their second year under head coach Marcus Cutler. The coach couldn’t stop talking about how much his players are getting focused early and developing leadership and strength. This is almost necessary considering the first four games of their schedule are Norfolk Christian, Isle of Wight, Bishop Sullivan, and Atlantic Shores.

Wake Weekend Leaves Bruins Ready For College Life

Last weekend, Wake Forest commits Daiquan Lawrence (SR DB 5-11 185) and Terence Ricks (SR LB/RB 6-1 195) visited Wake during the program’s one-day camp weekend. The duo relaxed and enjoyed their time on campus, took in some of the camp, and spent some time getting to know the players and staff better. Scott Ready For Hokie Offer

Green Run running back Anthony Scott was pumped about the opportunity to earn an offer from Virginia Tech. His combine performance was “disappointing”, in his words. A 4.43 forty in the rain had him fuming on Saturday. Despite doing well in one-on-one drills and impressing the coaches in Blacksburg, Anthony Scott was not happy about his camp performance. He’s close to landing an offer, but that’s not good enough for him.
