Butler Looks For Validation At All-Star Game

Warwick quarterback Josh Butler gets one more run on the high school gridiron Friday night. The elusive Raider spent years at the high school level performing as a Michael Vick-like dual threat quarterback, plus he played an excellent cornerback as well. Schedule Preview: Southeastern District

Say farewell to the districts. They officially went away last month. 2013-14 marks the first year of a new era within the VHSL. Schools will now belong to a conference, and play in a fully bracketed playoff at the state level once the postseason arrives. Cornell brings an impressive combination of size and athleticism to the defensive end position for the Dukes. He has the uncanny ability to disrupt plays before they begin and the speed to chase done ball carriers from behind.

Grafton QB Commits To UVA

Jackson struggled, and also went down to injury. That put then sophomore third-stringer Evan Sperling into the signal caller’s role, where he led the Clippers to a late run of wins and a playoff appearance. Sperling might be the answer for the fall of 2013, but his days of playing quarterback are numbered.
