Preview: Hampton Crabbers Stay With Division 5

All of the talk of reclassification and playoffs this offseason has gotten many fans abuzz about the changes. One program that’s benefitting from the change is the Hampton Crabbers. Gone are Lake Taylor, Norcom, Phoebus, and Lakeland. There’s plenty of competition in Division 5 still with teams like Salem, Warwick, and Green Run locally. 2013 Dinwiddie Generals: Destination Lynchburg

On December 14, 2013, the Dinwiddie Generals would like to be far from home. One hundred and one miles from home to be exact. Williams Stadium, nestled on the Liberty University campus in Lynchburg, VA, serves as the backdrop for a story yet to be written. Liberty University and Williams Stadium will host the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 4A Championship game and Dinwiddie expects to represent the Southern region against the Northern region opponent. In his characteristic confident but humble demeanor, Coach Billy Mills believes his team should be playing for the VHSL Division 4A Title. “Everyone in our program expects to be playing in Lynchburg in December,” says coach Mills.
