Churchland Remains Unbeaten

The Churchland Truckers came into the game versus Norview looking to extend their historic run. The Truckers were 4-0 for the first time in 40 plus years. The game versus Norview was played at Churchland and the weather was perfect fall football weather. Sweatshirts and blankets were out and in use in the stands as spectators looked to watch a great Eastern District showdown. The game started with two penalties and that was just the start of what seemed like a referee controlled first half.

Lake Taylor Blasts Maury, 56-0

Tonight pitted two crosstown rivals fighting for second place in the Eastern District. The Maury Commodores (3-1) hosted the Lake Taylor Titans (2-1) at Powhatan Field. The two rivals appeared confident in pre-game as the teams warmed up and began a stand off at midfield with chants and chatter before kickoff. That was about as close the two foes would get in terms of equal competition on the night.
