Lakeland QB Super Still Working On Recruitment

Zach Super has had one heck of a high school career. He transferred out of King’s Fork to Lakeland, then had to sit out his sophomore season. In his junior year, he suffered a knee injury and missed most of Lakeland’s games. Finally, in his senior season, everything clicked but his high school coach left in January. Recruiting is still coming together, but the ride has certainly been bumpy.

Bethel’s Walker Picks Up #8

The most notable lineman in the Peninsula District’s Class of 2014 just picked up his eighth offer. This one came out of nowhere. Ricky Walker has been on the recruiting radar since his freshman season when he premiered as an imposing six foot, 250 pound ninth grader. Walker has rounded out and matured since then, making him one of the most game experienced and sharpest high level prospects in the region.

Winners and Losers From Signing Day

National Signing Day was a day of celebration for local players and coaches.  For college coaches, it was a time to inventory their haul after confirming signings.  Some colleges made huge strides in establishing or continuing their presence in The 757.   Other colleges fell off the pace.  Still others have work to do if they’re going to be considered as contenders for local talent.
