In the same week that he was named to the recruitNoVA Fab 30, Potomac Falls DB Dean Ferguson has committed to Virginia Tech.
After thanking friends, family and God, Ferguson said: “I thank all the coaches and schools who have recruited me, and given me the opportunity to attend their respective institutions. With that being said, I am proud to announce that I am committed to Virginia Tech!”

Ferguson was named the #9 athlete in our recruitNoVA Fab 30 earlier this week.
Before committing to Virginia Tech, Ferguson also held more than a dozen offers, including offers from Virginia, East Carolina, Army, ODU, Indiana, Wake Forest, Syracuse and West Virginia
In his junior year, Ferguson tallied 84 tackles, 11 forced fumbles, 6 TFL and 6 pass deflections in a season where he earned a First Team All-District and First Team All-Region 5C selection at defensive back.
