We now have four Flint Hill Huskies who have made their college commitment.
Following Jordan Houston (2019 RB 5-9 180) and Trey Rucker (2019 FS 6-1 190), who committed to Maryland, and kicker Justin Duenkel (2019 P/K 5-11 180), who committed to a PWO at UVA, Flint Hill quarterback Miles Thompson is going the Ivy League route with a commitment to Penn.
Miles Thompson (2019 QB 5-11 170) was 84 for 127 passing for 1,792 yards and 31 touchdowns in a junior season that drove the Huskies to a VISAA Division I State Championship.
“I would like to thank my family as well as my coaches for helping me through this process and giving me their guidance. I would also like to thank all of the coaches who have recruited me. With that being said, I am blessed and extremely excited to announce that I committed to the admissions process at at the University of Pennsylvania.”

As an Ivy League school, Penn doesn’t offer athletic scholarships. Thompson can qualify for academic and merit scholarships. Prior to his commitment to attend Penn, Thompson held offers from Howard, Army, Davidson and Georgetown.
“The academics were really the tipping point for me. They told me I would have a spot in the Wharton school of Business which is pretty exclusive,” said Thompson via direct message after the commitment. “They want me to play corner. I went up there for camp this summer and did the first half of camp at QB and the second half at corner.”
“(After camp, the coaches) said they loved how natural I looked at DB for not really being a true defensive player (and they liked) my communication and leadership.”
