A trip to Georgia nets an offer for Tevin White

As the understudy for Penn State bound tailback Devyn Ford, Tevin White (2022 RB 6-1 182) had a solid freshman season at North Stafford.
This fall, White becomes the go-to back for the Wolverines.
The University of Georgia visited North Stafford in the Spring Evaluation period and White was invited to prove himself at a one-day prospect camp in Athens.
Today was the day that White and teammate Ambrose Asiedu (2022 DE 6-2 230)visited Athens and camped for the Bulldogs coaching staff. His hard work netted him a scholarship offer from Georgia.
“Tevin hit it out of the park today,” North Stafford assistant coach John Harris reported. “He’s a 6-1 182-pound running back that is fluid in his movements and is very coachable. The coaches really liked how he looked in drills also.”
It’s the first offer for White, but certainly not the last. Tevin earned an invitation to the recruit757/Sparta Science Showcase at Redskins Park in March, and he was impressive there against competition that was years older than him.
The bar is set high for him at North Stafford. Devyn Ford set records and became a scoring machine for the Wolverines well before he committed to Penn State and reached his senior season.
Ambrose Asiedu is chasing another legend. His older brother Nana was a stud lineman at North Stafford who was also recruited to Penn State. A heart condition ended his college football career before it got off the ground, but Nana still casts a long shadow at North Stafford.
The summer camp schedule is certain to be busy for Tevin, Ambrose, and the other Wolverines who will star on the gridiron this fall. The duo is headed to Duke next weekend.
We’ll keep tabs on the squad and we’ll keep you up to date on their recruiting news.
