The All-757 Juniors team shows the depth of local talent in the Class of 2021
Editor’s note: our recruit757 All-Region selections encompass the entire 757 region and the 66 high schools that play high school football in the region. When a player is selected as All-Conference or All-District, he is selected as the best out of as many as ten or eleven high school programs. The All-Region teams are decided between 11 to 18 teams in our VHSL regions. The All-757 teams are selected by determining the best players among the 62 schools and includes Private and Public Schools. This is an ocean of talent. Also, stats are not an exclusive determining factor. A number of variables are considered when selecting the All-757 teams, including All-Region/All-State voting, team context and competition level. Being selected as All-Region is a BIG qualifier. If a player didn’t make first or second team out of a pool of 11 to 18 teams, it would be tough to argue for inclusion in a pool of 62 teams.
When selecting All-Juniors, we have to dig a little deeper because deserving juniors don’t always earn an All-Region pick. We hope you enjoy the list. – AH

We’ve honored the best of the region with the All-757 teamsAll-757 teamsAll-757 teams. Now it’s time for the juniors to be recognized.
For this list, we have to go a little deeper. This is not only about the athletes who were recognized as All-District and All-Region. There are some shining stars who may have been overshadowed by senior athletes. These juniors are the ones who will be pulling in college offers in the coming year as they enter into the final season of their high school career.
Our offensive and defensive players of the year were big-time impact players for their programs in 2018. We have a lot to look forward to.
All head coaches were given the opportunity to nominate players for this list so that players outside of the VHSL All-Region selections could be considered.
It’s our overall goal to continue to promote as many prospects in the 757 as we can to ensure these prospects get an equal amount of exposure. The ultimate objective for recruit757 is to help put high school players in a position to receive attention for college recruitment.
