Brantley Soon To Be BMOC

Phoebus lineman Walter Brantley can’t wait for the day when he’s the BMOC. For those of you not picking up what I’m putting down, that’s “big man on campus”. At 6-3 and 330, Lil’ Walt, as he’s affectionately called, is literally the big man on Phoebus’ campus. It won’t be long before he’s walking the open spaces of a college campus.

Business As Usual For Blanding

($$) Bayside athlete Quin Blanding comes across as a young man who has it all together. The rising senior is the leader of his team. He’s made his college commitment to Virginia. Quin has already participated in the annual Gridiron Kings event in Florida, a showcase for rising senior recruits. He officially earned his invite to Nike’s The Opening, and he did it in a very business-like fashion. That should be no surprise for those that know him.

Oscar Smith Duo Shines At VTO

On a weekend where some of the bigger names in the region traveled to Washington, DC for the NFTC camp, a number of local 757 athletes traveled to Richmond to attend the VTO camp. While Andrew Brown, the top defensive tackle in the nation and #3 overall player in the country was earning honors at Nike’s Camp, two of his Tigers teammates were turning heads in the capital.
