DetailsOld Dominion Head Coach Bobby Wilder recapped the 2012 season for the media today, and unveiled a class of nine commitments that will enroll at the school for the 2013 spring semester. The class of nine was mostly JUCO athletes, but also included Oscar Smith defensive end Kanyia Anderson, who graduates from high school at mid-term of his senior year.

Before the dead period begins, college coaches are coming in to see the crop of talent that Hank Sawyer has cultivated at Lake Taylor. There’s a lot of talent at the school, but the beautiful thing for Coach Sawyer is that there’s more talent coming up in the sophomore and junior classes.

Congratulations to 757 region representatives Keith Willie of Atlantic Shores, Jackson Goodman of Isle of Wight Academy, and George Wahee of Norfolk Christian for being named First Team All-State on both sides of the ball. Also, Rashard Brown of Portsmouth Christian was named First Team as a kick off return man and wide receiver.
