Donovan Everette commits to the US Naval Academy

In a spring and summer free of camps and opportunities to showcase, Norview DE Donovan Everette (2021 DE 6-3 210) has made the most of it.
His recruitment was already rolling over the winter, and he continued to pick up steam in the spring.
On Saturday, he made his college commitment. His choice? The United States Naval Academy.

In Everette’s commitment video on Twitter, Norview head coach Ian Rapanick raved about Everette’s work ethic and potential.
Rapanick said: “Donovan Everette is the kind of young man you build your culture around. He exemplifies the three things we look for in our players: he’s a great person, a great student and a great athlete.”
Everette thanked his coaches, friends and parents in the video before announcing the United States Naval Academy as his choice. “Go Navy. Beat Army,” Donovan said to close the announcement.
On July 10, Donovan had narrowed his offer list to Navy, Elon, William and Mary and Army. The Midshipmen won out.
