The playoffs are here and the brackets are almost set

As predicted before the season started, we see a lot of one and two-loss teams who have not made the postseason in this shortened Spring season.
There’s one caveat to this announcement. The final VHSL Power Ratings have been released, but there are ties to be broken. Also, there could be changes to be made based on quarantines, where teams become ineligible due to quarantine. The final brackets will be released by the VHSL on Monday morning.
In Region 6C, there is a three way tie in the power points between Lake Braddock, Mount Vernon and West Springfield. All three teams are 4-2 with a 26.667 power rating. There are only two spots for the three teams.
Unlike the typical playoff structure, this time all regions in all six VHSL classes have four playoff teams only. Each region will hold a semi-final and final before teams advance to the state semifinals.
In all cases, the Region A Champion will host the Region B Champion and the Region D Champion will host the Region C Champion. In the state championships, the winner of the Region A/B semifinal will host the winner of the Region C/D semifinal.
All games will be played at high school sites unless specifically scheduled otherwise.
The VHSL has affirmed that the champions for the season will be crowned 2020 VHSL Football Champions.
