LT boys in talks to host national power

It’s been quite the summer for the BWSL 17U girls travel team. The program has faced some of the top AAU organizations in the country, along with an exhibition slate that included a trip to Brazil. This past weekend, the group headed to Augusta, SC for the Nike Girls EYBL Finals.
The BWSL 17U features the top-ranked prospect in the class of 2017 rankings, Monacan forward Megan Walker, the reigning Gatorade Player of the Year, who recently narrowed down her list of suitors to Notre Dame, Texas, UConn and Virginia. BWSL finished 5-1 in pool play, moving on to the final four round.
After defeating All Iowa Attack in the quarterfinals, BWSL matched up with Tennessee Flight in an early morning Saturday contest, which ultimately would end up in favor of TN Flight, 71-51. For a team that had cruised through most of its summer schedule, the gas seemed to finally run out for the BWSL squad.
The Flight would eventually finish runner-up in the Gold Division, losing to Team Elite, 54-47.
